Burlap Banner for Nursery

Initially I thought this could hang on our hospital door when our baby is born, but since it will be just me and Colin at the hospital for the delivery, the banner will probably greet our little one when she arrives home. Nothing like having a baby during a pandemic, huh?😆

I stitched up the little burlap banner on my Janome sewing machine and personalized it with the Cricut Maker.

Monogrammed Burlap Pillows

I made these pillows for gifts this Christmas.  One is burlap on both sides, and the other has a faux fur back.  I added lace to the monogram to add even more texture.  I didn't use fabric, because I wanted to keep it pretty neutral.

The lace monogram is the Circle Monogram Applique from Boutique Fonts.  The other design is the Split Alpha from Planet Applique (click here to get 20% off your first order from Planet Applique).

Don't you just love burlap?! :)

Embroidered Burlap Pillows for Christmas & Winter

Winter is on the way, and Christmas is coming!  I embroidered burlap, and my mom made them into pillows for us to sell at a local store.  Yay for burlap year-round!

Links to the embroidery designs are below.

Nativity from Lynnie Pinnie (adapted a bit)

Tree from the files folder Lynnie Pinnie's Facebook group

Mason Jar from Daily Embroidery

I can't remember where I got this snowflake file...sorry!

Embroidered Fall Pillows

October is here!  That means there's no shame in covering your house in pumpkins!  I put pumpkin decorations out in September, but I know there are a few pumpkin sticklers out there.  Well, bring on all the fall decor!  Pillows are such an easy way to decorate for the season, so here are some 12 inch throw pillows to add a bit of fall to your patio or couch.

I embroidered the burlap with designs that were both free!  The leaf is from iBroidery (free monthly download with free account), and the pumpkin appliqué is from Lynnie Pinnie (free when you sign up for newsletter).

My mom made them into pillows, and they are available to purchase at a little store in Greers Ferry for just $10 each if you're heading to the lake this fall.
