Placemat to Purse

I've been silent for a few days, because I've been busy, busy, busy crafting for Christmas.  I've had a few custom orders I've been finishing up (that I can blog about once the gifts are given!).

I just wanted to drop by to say MERRY CHRISTMAS!  I'll be back after the holidays.  Enjoy your break!

Oh, and here's a peek of a small gift I'll be giving...

Started as a placemat...
Became a purse!
Velcro closures
Pleated bottom
Just a little clutch!

Crock Pot Breakfast Casserole

Having night guests over for the holidays?  Then you need to make this for breakfast!
You just throw a few things in the pot, go to sleep, then wake up to eat it!
I first saw the recipe on the Jimmy Dean site.  Check out the recipe or tweak it a bit like I did.

I used about half a bag of hash browns, leftover seasoned ground beef, and four eggs, so it didn't make quite as much as the original recipe.

This is a warm, tasty, comforting breakfast that's a snap to make.  Hope you enjoy!

Open House: Antique Brick Outdoors & The Green Corner Store

A couple weeks ago, I went to the holiday open houses at Antique Brick Outdoors and The Green Corner Store, both in Little Rock.

My sister-in-law Loren works at Antique Brick Outdoor as a designer.  This was my first time in the store, and I was blown away!  This is one of the coolest stores in Arkansas!  You and your husband would love this place, because you can shop for you indoor and outdoor living spaces.

After hanging out at ABO, we headed over to the Green Corner Store.  It was packed with people!
