We're having a snow day here in central Arkansas!  I love snow days!

If you're vegging out today, here's a little video to pass some time.  I got together with my friend Michelle, and she taught me how she puts on her makeup.  We talk about our love for blush and things like over-conturing and big eyebrows.  We pretty much just ramble.

Plum & Snow

I had another snow day yesterday!  The snow started melting, but I still enjoyed the crisp air and look of winter wonderland at our house.

It's been frigid here and in the teens (and we're in the south!).  Even Ruby is having trouble keeping warm.

Colin had to work, so I was home alone.  To entertain myself I did some knitting (the Hello Kitty socks helped)...

...watched some Netflix with Ruby (well, she slept)...

Today I'm back at work and catching up on everything that was supposed to be done on the snow days! Anyone else snowed in?  I saw on the news today that every state except for Florida had snow (even Hawaii!)!!!

LET IT SNOW! LET IT SNOW! LET IT SNOWWWW!

on monday we got over 6 inches of snow, and it's been glorious!  we might get more thursday, friday, and sunday!  i love snow!  seeing as though i was born in kansas and spent 3 winters of my life in several feet of snow, snow is in my blood!  if you know me, you know i hate cold weather.  my skins freaks out and can't handle it.  but if there's snow on the ground, it's like i don't even notice the single digit temperatures.

here's how i celebrated the snow:

CHOCOLATE SNOW CREAM!

i filled the bowl with snow and added sugar, eagle brand milk, 2% milk, vanilla, and whipping cream (just keep adding it all until it's sweet enough!)

my office has been closed and my hubby was off work monday and tuesday, so we've been enjoying our mini vacation.  i've been finishing a few sewing projects.  and our puppy is sure glad to have us home during the day!
