My mom got these two button up tops from Crazy 8 for Harlow and asked me to embroider them. I decided to do the sunglasses appliqués from Lynnie Pinnie. I skipped the appliqué on the pocket. I wanted it to look like a matching pocket instead of using a different fabric that would stand out.
I got the raglan tee from Walmart for less than $4! Use ebates to get that cash back!
I used the Monogram Sketch Font from Lynnie Pinnie and resized and positioned it in Sew What Pro.
I've mentioned in previous blog posts that I purchased some thread that has been difficult to work with. I won't repurchase the thread when it's used up, but I didn't want it to go to waste. I posted my issue in an embroidery Facebook group, and several people suggested getting an oil that helps keep thread from unraveling and breaking. I picked up Sewer's Aid at Joann's (order through ebates for cash back). It has made all the difference! I highly suggest this if you have problem thread!
