...for a couple weeks.
I know I've been somewhat absent from blog world the last couple weeks, and it's only about to get worse. I'm flying to Romania on Thursday. When I return to the US, I will fly to the Philippines four days later. So, I'm thinking I'm not going to have a lot of blog time.
Pen pals, I'm not participating this month, because I won't be home to mail you those letters. I plan on returning to the list in a couple months.
Enjoy the fall weather that's making its way, and sit back and sip a lemonade as you tailgate for football (that's my kind of tailgating)!
See ya soon...

The Voice Project
If you only have time to browse one website today, puh-leese check out The Voice Project. You can read all about the cause here, but basically it's artists banding together to help heal the families of Uganda.
Artists from around the world cover other artists songs in an effort to send a message of love and forgiveness in the hopes of bringing home boys that have been forced to fight a terrible war. Please watch the video here for a better explanation.
Here's a few of the artists:
Joe Purdy (Arkansas kid like me :) )
Brett Dennen
Andrew Bird
Priscilla Ahn
Artist like The Beatles, Bon Iver, Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros, Citizen Cope, Cary Brothers, Cat Power, and more have songs covered.
This project is one of the best ideas I've seen in a long time. Music has an incredible way of bonding people and healing hearts.
I hope you like the videos :)
